Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Sailor King of Pen Iro-Miyabi Ivory Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box (including outer), pen kimono and information leaflets. The pen has never been used and was only unsealed for photography.

 

 

 

 

The barrel and cap are crafted from ebonite, which is then coated in an Urushi lacquer. The process of adding lacquer is repeated over many months and by using different techniques and styles of lacquer, the textured finish is achieved. It’s appearance resembles the look and texture of a stone.

 

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a 21k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds, when it comes to ink.
