Sailor 1911 Standard Yosegi Zaiku Wooden Fountain Pen – Music Nib

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this rare Sailor 1911 Standard Yosegi Zaiku Wooden Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box (including outer, matching wooden cartridge box and information leaflet.. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition – there are a few small spot marks to the gold-plated trim (shown in the photos)

Released in 2012, the pen has a barrel and cap crafted using a historical technique known as Hasone Yosegi-Zaiku. This involves taking multiple wood grains and creating geometric patterns – four different kinds of wood are used for this pen. Also included is a cartridge box, made using the same technique.

The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It’s fitted with a 14k music nib.
