Ryan Krusac Legend L-15 Moby Dick Limited Edition Fountain Pen

 

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Ryan Krusac Legend L-15 Moby Dick Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box, pen pouch and additional nib. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition – there appears to be a very fine natural crack in the cap, we’ve shown it in the photos but it doesn’t cause any issue with the pen. Only 150 Moby Dick pens were produced (across different models we believe) and this is number 59.

 

 

 

If you’ve got this far then you likely already know about Ryan Krusac, but if not here’s a quick introduction. He is one of a growing number of small, but hugely in demand, pen makers from the USA. He makes pens in very small quantities and they always sell out incredibly quickly, so getting hold of one on the secondary market is extremely difficult.

 

 

 

 

This example features an ebony cap, with the barrel being crafted from shed moose antler – it depicts the final scene in Moby Dick, created using the scrimshaw method.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a 1.5mm stub steel (Jowo #6) nib (another 1.1mm is included) and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
