Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M805 Stresemann Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box and stamped information booklet – confirming first purchase on 23rd October 2018. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition. The broad nib was ground to a cursive italic by John Sorowka.

This version of the M805 is dedicated to Gustav Stresemann, who was honoured with the Nobel Peace Prixe in 1926. He was known for his liking for suits with thin stripes, hence the striated anthracite finish on the barrel. One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!

The M605 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink – the piston is a little stiffer than some Pelikans, but certainly not an issue. It’s fitted with an 18C broad nib.

The important details are as follows…

– 18c Broad Nib

– Pelikan Piston Filling System

– izods Presentation Box

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
