Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M620 Berlin Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box (including outer) and stamped information booklet – confirming first purchase on 7th September 2002. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The Berlin is an iconic special edition that was first released in 2001 (the first pen in the series!). The grip section and piston cone are crafted from black resin with the barrel and cap being marbled green resin. The trim is gold-plated.
One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!
The pen is fitted with a 14C double broad nib and the M620 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…
– 14c Double Broad Nib
– Piston Filling System
– Pelikan Presentation Box
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
