Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M1005 Stresemann Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box (including outer), pouch and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the tiniest ring mark on the barrel, where the cap has been screwed on and off.
This version of the M1005 is dedicated to Gustav Stresemann, who was honoured with the Nobel Peace Prixe in 1926. He was known for his liking for suits with thin stripes, hence the striated anthracite finish on the barrel. One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!
The M1005 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink. It’s fitted with an 18C extra fine nib.
The important details are as follows…
– 18c Extra Fine Nib
– Pelikan Piston Filling System
– Pelikan Presentation Box
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
