Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Pelikan M710 Toledo Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition.

The Toledo pens from Pelikan truly are pieces of art – the pens take their name from the town of Toledo in Spain, where the technique of working with damascus steel was perfected. The Pelikan M710 Toledo has engravings made of sterling silver, but unlike the M700 it’s not then gold-plated. All the engravings are made by hand and as such only 200 pens can be produced by Pelikan each month.

This is a early example, with it featuring W.Germany markings on the piston cone, along with 925 markings on the cap and barrel sleeve. These details fit it in to the original production period of 1992-1997.

This example features the PF nib marking, which was a customs requirement for certain markets – these nibs are always sought after, as they’re earlier examples and having wonderful writing characteristics.

The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink and it’s fitted with an 18c medium nib.

The important details are as follows…

– 18c Medium Nib

– Fantastic Condition

– izods Presentation Box

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
