Pelikan M710 Toledo Fountain Pen – 1992-97 – PF Nib

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Pelikan M710 Toledo Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box and booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition – the presentation box says ‘Exclusively for Ebel’ but there are no Ebel markings on the pen, so we can assume this was a corporate order where only the box was branded.

The Toledo pens from Pelikan truly are pieces of art – the pens take their name from the town of Toledo in Spain, where the technique of working with damascus steel was perfected. The Pelikan M710 Toledo has engravings made of sterling silver, but unlike the M700 it’s not then gold-plated. All the engravings are made by hand and as such only 200 pens can be produced by Pelikan each month.

This is a early example, with it featuring the green ink window along with 925 markings on the cap and barrel sleeve. These details fit it in to the original production period of 1992-1997.

The pen is fitted with an 18c fine nib (PF nib marking) and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

– 18c Fine Nib

– Piston Filling System

– Pelikan Presentation Box

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
