Parker RMS Queen Elizabeth Limited Edition Fountain Pen

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker RMS Queen Elizabeth Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (light damage to one corner), certificate, paperwork and a facsimile copy of the original invitation to board the shipin 1938. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition – we’ve not polished any elements of the brass.

These pens have a fascinating history and are crafted from brass reclaimed from the RMS Queen Elizabeth which sank in Hong Kong harbour in 1972 after being engulfed by fire. This limited edition of only 5000 pens (this is number 3468) was released in 1976.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments… the look and feel of these pens is all about quality materials and finishes. Based on the ’75’ the pen is a cartridge / converter (modern converter supplied) so you’ve got the best of both worlds. These pens feature a 14ct nib and this one is a medium.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
