Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Duofold Godron Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with a Parker presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition. With the barrel marking of IIA, this dates it to Q2 1992.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests. The Godron Gold was introduced in 1991 and it featured a brass cap and barrel, which were then plated with 23k gold.
The engraved godron pattern is extremely eye-catching, with the shade of gold being bright, but also dark enough not to appear brash.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Fantastic
Box: Parker
Nib: Medium
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
