Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Duofold Centennial Red Marble Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, over the years and is presented in lovely condition. The cap appears to have a marking of P, which would place it as a 1997 pen, but it’s so faint, it could be different, as the style appears earlier.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
The Red Marble was one of the original MK1 colours and is extremely eye-catching, with it’s mottled barrel and cap. The gold-plated trim offers a great contrast.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
The important details are as follows…
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
