Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Duofold Centennial Mandarin Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Parker presentation box (including outer) and information booklets. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition – the little coin inside the box is not attached to where it originally was (shown in the photos). Only 1000 were produced and this is number 07319.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.

This limited edition was released in 1995 as a celebration of the original Mandarin Yellow Duofold from the 1920s. The colour was inspired by George Parkers purchase of a Cloisonne vase, during a trip to Japan.

The barrel and cap are crafted from vivid Mandarin Yellow resin with the old Lucky Curve ribbon being found engraved on the barrel, with the limitation number. The cap crown is engraved Parker Duofold Mandarin. The trim rings are crafted from solid gold and the relevant hallmarks can be found on the ring by the grip section.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
