Parker Duofold Centennial Blue Marble Fountain Pen / Ballpoint Set – UNUSED 1987

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Parker Duofold Centennial Blue Marble Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Pen Set, which comes with its Parker presentation box (including outer). These are some of the earliest modern Duofold examples, with the PC cap markings denoting a production date of Q2 1987. Neither pen has been used and as such are presented in wonderful condition.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.

The Blue Marble was one of the original MK1 colours and is extremely eye-catching, with it’s mottled barrel and cap. The gold-plated trim offers a great contrast. The ballpoint is the original push-down version, rather than twist.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
