Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Duofold Centennial Black / Gold Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Pen Set which comes with its Parker presentation box and stamped paperwork – confirming first purchase on 13th February 1989. Both pens appear to have been carefully used and are presented in lovely condition. This is very early Duofold set, with the cap marking of IE dating it to Q3 1988.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests. As mentioned, this is an early example and these pens have such a fantastic feel about them when writing.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k fine (code 82) arrow design nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (not supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.

The important details are as follows…

Condition: Lovely

Boxes: Parker

Nib: Fine

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
