Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker 51 Special Edition 2002 Fountain Pen, which comes with its delightful faux-snake skin Parker presentation box, unused polishing cloth and paperwork – confirming first purchase on 19th September 2002. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in lovely condition.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the 51 is a legendary offering! In 2002, Parker reintroduced the 51 as a special edition, which was available in two colours – blue and black. This is the black version, which then features a vermeil silver cap. The cap has the famous Empire Design and the detailing is wonderful.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds.

The important details are as follows…

Box: Parker

Nib: Medium

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
