Onoto The Spitfire Prototype Fountain Pen

Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto The Spitfire Prototype Fountain Pen, which comes with its large lacquered wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase on 1st July 2021. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition (a couple of light marks to the brass clip).

The Spitfire is an iconic Onoto release and this is a pre-production prototype. The pen is still produced from aluminium, but is not taken from the Battle of Britain Spitrie P7350. The clip is crafted from brass.

The pen is fitted with an steel size 7 medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
