Omas Paragon Black Cotton Resin Fountain Pen

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this lovely Omas Paragon Black Cotton Resin Gold Trim Fountain Pen, which comes with its OMAS presentation box (some flaking to the inner material), pouch and paperwork – confirming first purchase on 4th June 2007. The pen has been regularly used but is still presented in overall very good condition.

OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.

The Paragon is one of their most recognisable pens and they have an elegance and simplicity that only a manufacturer like OMAS could have achieved.

The barrel and cap are crafted from black cotton resin, with the trim being gold-plated. The greek key design can be found both on the cap and grip section.

As mentioned, the pen features a piston filling mechanism, so bottled ink is your choice here. It’s fitted with an 18k medium nib.

The important details are as follows…

Condition: Very Good

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
