Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this fantastic Omas 360 Harmonia Mundi Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its substantial presentation box and paperwork. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition – we’ve sold 4 of these recently and this is our last one! There are some light marks to the transparent cover at the base of the cap, but this doesn’t detract from the pen at all. Only 950 pens were produced, this is number 501 and it features a broad nib.

OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.

The Harmonia Mundhi is one of our favourite pens, quite simply because it’s stunning! The cap and barrel are crafted from titanium, which is engraved with messages of peace in a number of different languages (the artist was Clara Halter). To protect these engravings, the pen has a transparent cover. The trim and intricate screws are produced from solid gold.

The name of the pen comes from the desire to creation harmony, so details such as the trigger shaped clip then turns in to a rainbow. The titanium used for the barrel and cap, often used in weaponry, is instead being used to represent communication.

The pen features a piston filling mechanism, so bottled ink is your choice here. This really is a serious writing instrument, which represents amazing value when you consider all the materials used! It’s one of the most impressive pens that we’ve ever encountered and the prices of them continue to rise.

The important details are as follows…

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
