Omas Extra Arte Italiana Paragon Arco Bronze Celluloid Fountain Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Omas Extra Paragon Arte Italiana Arco Bronze Celluloid Fountain Pen, which comes with an OMAS pouch and izods presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – there is a mark on the grip section and this is shown in the photos. There are also some light marks to the end of the nib, but during the write test the pen performed well and as it should.

OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.

The Paragon is an iconic model and in Arco Bronze form is a very imposing writing instrument. Arco Bronze celluloid requires no introduction and is arguably the most sought-after pen material on the planet, alongside Arco Verde. With its myriad of brown and gold tones, it’s a material that simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The trim is gold-plated, which works really well with the Arco.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
