Montegrappa Green Celluloid 753 La Verde Roma LE Fountain Pen – DIPPED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montegrappa La Verde Roma 753 Green Celluloid Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden Montegrappa presentation box, unopened bottle of ink, stamped information booklet and receipt – confirming first purchase on 25th November 2020 . The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in virtually as new condition. The outer box says ‘stub’ but this pen has a fine nib.

Only 100 of these pens were produced, with this being number 60. The La Verde Roma was released in 2018 as a celebration Rome being the greenest city in Europe. The number 753 represents the year that the city was founded.

For the first time, Montegrappa have also created the nib section from matching celluloid, rather than the usual metal version. It makes a huge difference to the overall appearance and the vibrancy of the celluloid really has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

The pen features the 32-tooth click ratchet piston, so bottled ink is your choice here.The pen is fitted with a size #8 18k fine nib.
