Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Jonathan Swift Fountain Pen – UNUSED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Jonathan Swift Writers Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its book style presentation box (including outers) and stamped paperwork – confirming first purchase on 30th June 2014. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 12800 were produced and this is number 11626 – the M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can still be found on the piston cone.

Launched in 2012, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Jonathan Swift is a tribute to this legendary Irish writer.

Best known as the creator of ‘Gulliver’s Travels” and it’s from this that Montblanc takes its inspiration for the pen. The black barrel and cap are decorated with layered inlays, which are reminiscent of the ropes used to bind Gulliver on Lilliput island. The overall shape is a nod to Gulliver’s tricorn and the cap bears Swift’s signature. The clip is shaped like the staircase that the mayor of Lilliput had to climb to talk to Gulliver.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
