Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Jonathan Swift Ballpoint Pen – UNUSED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Jonathan Swift Writers Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its book style presentation box (including outers) and unstamped paperwork. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 14500 were made and this is number 13037.

Launched in 2012, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Jonathan Swift is a tribute to this legendary Irish writer.

Best known as the creator of ‘Gulliver’s Travels” and it’s from this that Montblanc takes its inspiration for the pen. The black barrel and cap are decorated with layered inlays, which are reminiscent of the ropes used to bind Gulliver on Lilliput island. The overall shape is a nod to Gulliver’s tricorn and the cap bears Swift’s signature. The clip is shaped like the staircase that the mayor of Lilliput had to climb to talk to Gulliver.

The pen is fitted with a black refill.
