Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Mark Twain Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition – the F stcker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone. Only 12000 were produced and this is number 8125.

Launched in 2010 as the yearly release in the Writers Edition series, this edition pays tribute to the American author Mark Twain. Crafted from a deep blue resin, the filigree wave design reflects both the river of his homeland, the Mississippi. The nib on the fountain pen is engraved with two threads, which was the nautical measurement used for navigation by river steamers on the Mississippi in the 19th century.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
