Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Jonathan Swift Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer – the label is a mismatch for the limitation number) and unstamped information booklet. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition. Only 12800 pens were produced and this is number 12432.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2012 it was Jonathan Swift.
The pen takes its inspiration from “Gulliver’s Travels”. It’s crafted from black lacquer and decorated with inlays reminiscent of the ropes used to bind Gulliver. The cap is particularly interesting as it’s shaped like Gulliver’s tricorn hat and it always features Swift’s engraved signature. The clip reflects the staircar that the mayor of Liliput Island had to climb to talk to Gulliver.
The pen is fitted with a new refill.

As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
