Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Friedrich Schiller Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped information booklet. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in essentially as new condition – the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. Only 18000 pens were produced and this is number 17071.
Ever year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2010 it was Friedrich Schiller, who is renowned for literary works such as “The Robbers”, “Mary Stuart” and “William Tell”. The most stunning feature is the amber cap, which was a symbol of changing society in Schiller’s time. The remainder of the pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-plated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
