Montblanc SlimLine Matte Black Fountain Pen – 18k EF Nib

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this MontblancSlimLine Matte Black Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the years and is presented in lovely condition. This is an interesting example, as officially the SlimLine pens weren’t available with solid gold nibs, but this example is fitted with an 18k nib. With the grip section being different from the standard SlimLine design (ribbed rather than smooth), this may have been taken from another pen, but it fits perfectly and works well with the matte black colour scheme.

The SlimLine pens were launched on the back of the success of the VIP pens. This matte black version, features the Montblanc snowcap emblem on the clip, cap top and end of the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an extra fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (not supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
