Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Rudyard Kipling 1895 Tribute to ‘IF’ Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition – the protective tape remains on the barrel and section. Only 1895 were produced and this is number 1452.

Launched in 2019, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Kipling takes its inspiration the legendary ‘The Jungle Book’. The shape of the pen is a nod to the story by Ankus in the second jungle book, with the barrel and cap being crafted from a green resin, which then has a Champagne-tone gold-plated skeletonised design over the top. The section is engraved with his signature the design of the clip reflects the wolf pack. Sitting atop of the cap is a huge Montblanc snowcap, crafted from mother-of-pearl.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
