Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Joseph II Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition. As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 1969. The pen has just returned from being serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg and the paperwork will be supplied to the purchaser.

In 2012, as the yearly release from the Patron of Art series, Montblanc honoured Joseph II, the 18th century Holy Roman Emperor. Known for his love of the arts, he was a large supporter of Mozart.

The barrel and cap are crafted from red lacquer, with white striped panels. Carrying details of the emperor’s coat of arms, with the cap resembling his crown.

The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib and the pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
