Montblanc Patron of Art Francois I 4810 Fountain Pen – Serviced by MB DEC 22

1 in stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Francois I Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box (including outer). The pen has just returned from being serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg, where the piston mechanism and piston cone were also replaced – the paperwork will be supplied to the purchaser. The remainder of the pen is presented in very good condition. As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 0089.

In 2008, Montblanc honoured the Renassaince leader King Francois I. The barrel is crafted from tigers-eye gemstone, which is a nod to a charm worn by Francois. The cap, section and cone are black precious resin with the trim being gold-plated. The clip and rings feature Renaissance patterns.

The 18k medium nib has a fine engraving of a lily, the symbol of the French Royal house. It’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
