Montblanc Oscar Wilde Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen – EF Nib

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Oscar Wilde Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in lovely condition. Only 20000 pens were produced and this is number 09614. We were advised that a personalisation has been professionally removed from the cap, and this appears to have been done very successfully, there is simply a feint mark, but most people wouldn’t even realise it had previously had this personalisation.

The Oscar Wilde is a delightful writing instrument. Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1994 they chose the legendary Irish poet and playwright, Oscar Wilde. The clip and trim on this pen are vermeil AG925 sterling silver with the barrel being constructed from a delightful green tinged marbled resin. His engraved signature can be found decorating the cap.

The 18k extra fine nib features fine engravings reminiscent of his time. This is a piston filling pen, so bottled ink is your choice here.
