Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Oscar Wilde Writers Edition Autograph Set Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped paperwork – confirming first purchase on 12th May 2015. The pencil has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition.. Only 12000 were produced and this is number 8141.

 

 

 

The Oscar Wilde is a delightful writing instrument. Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1994 they chose the legendary Irish poet and playwright, Oscar Wilde. The clip and trim on this pencil are vermeil AG925 sterling silver with the barrel being constructed from a delightful green tinged marbled resin. His engraved signature can be found decorating the cap.

 

 

 

This is the rare Autograph set, which includes a larger overall presentation box, along with a facsimile copy of a letter written by Oscar Wilde.

 

 

 

The pencil is fitted with a new eraser and 0.9mm leads.
