Montblanc Miguel de Cervantes Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen - UNUSED

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Miguel de Cervantes Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style presentation box (including outers) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 18th January 2006. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the F sticker, confirming a fine nib, can still be found on the piston cone. There a couple of tiny marks over the limitation number and these are shown in the photos.

Released in 2005 as the yearly offering from the Writers Edition, the pen takes its inspiration from the windmills in the novel, Don Quixote. Their form, tapering in opposing directions, symbolises the difference in character between the hero Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza.

The cap and barrel are crafted from a lacquered brown marble resin and the cap features Cervantes signature.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

Date: 2005

Condition: Virtually As New

Box: Montblanc

Limitation Number: 05227 / 17000

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
