The Montblanc and UNICEF collaboration is one that stretches back to 2004 and this pen is from the Signature for Good 2009 collection. A filigree gold-plated wreath adorns the cap, which is a reference to the UN’s emblematic olive wreath, which is universally recognised as the symbol of peace. The clip ring also features a small sapphire, chose to echo the UNICEF colour.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and being a Classique it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
