Montblanc Meisterstuck LeGrand Soulmakers LE 1906 Granite Fountain Pen – UNUSED

 

Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 146 LeGrand Soulmakers for 100 Years Limited Edition 1906 Granite Silver Fountain Pen, which comes with its large lacquered Montblanc Soulmakers presentation box (including outers), booklet and unused polishing cloth. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 1906 examples were produced and this is number 1117 (we’re also selling the ballpoint with the same LE number). In our opinion, this is one of the most impressive and distinctive LeGrand sized pens ever produced.

 

 

 

 

 

The Soulmakers pens were released in 2006 and included a broad range of writing instruments – from special edition ballpoint pens through to outstanding super-limited editions. This is the glorious 1906 LeGrand limited edition, which features a diamond in the shape of the Montblanc snowcap logo, which sits atop the cap, floating in a clear resin dome.

 

 

 

 

 

The cap is crafted from granite quarried from the Mont Blanc mountain. The barrel and trim are sterling silver – there are some light marks to the inside of the presentation box, where the pen has tarnished and then rubbed off on the lining.

 

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and being a LeGrand it’s a piston filler – so your choice here is bottled ink.
