Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this rare Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Solitaire Silver Barley Guilloche Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer), diamond certificate, unused polishing cloth and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 27th October 2021. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.

 

 

 

 

The Silver Barley is one of the rarest non-limited edition Solitaire offerings and was only available for a limited period of time.

 

 

 

 

The barrel and cap are crated from sterling silver, which is then engraved with an intricate guilloche design. The clip has a diamond on it and the appropriate diamond certificate is included. The real star of the show is the mother-of-pearl snowcap, which is rarely see on Montblanc writing instruments, even very limited edition offerings.

 

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
