Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Solitaire Calligraphy Gold Leaf Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide. The pen has barely been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the sticker, denoting a flex nib, remains on the cone.

 

 

 

 

The Gold Leaf Solitaire’s are a recent addition to the lineup and this really is a stunning writing instrument. This style was used by Cartier on a limited edition several years ago and the gold leaf effect is equally as stunning on this Montblanc version. The barrel and cap have a lacquered finish over the black precious resin base. The trim is PVD-coated.

 

 

 

 

The star of the show is the 18k calligraphy flex nib, giving a potential line from an EF to a BB. The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
