Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped warranty card and booklet . The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the F sticker, confirming a fine nib, remains on the barrel.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it’s from 1991-92. This is also backed up by a number of other features on the pen.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone fine nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Bi-Tone Fine Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
