Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this rare Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique Magic Beauty Ugly Duckling Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and information leaflet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.

Part of the Fairy Tale collection, this is the Ugly Duckling, which in many ways is one of the most unusual pens that Montblanc have ever produced. Taking its inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s tale “The Ugly Duckling”, the enamel cap has a crackled pattern, reminiscent of a duck coming out of its egg… a solid 18k gold beak is found protruding from the ‘egg’, with this little detail being an absolute delight. The trim and barrel are gold-plated.

The Montblanc snowcap is crafted from mother-of-pearl and the unique serial number is engraved on the clip ring. These rarely appear for sale and are a real delight.

The pen is fitted with a new refill.
