Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Bordeaux Resin Gold Line 164 Classique Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall very good condition – the gold trim is bright and the Bordeaux precious resin has a deep shine. There are some small marks towards the top of the cap.

We’ve always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80’s and then for a second time in the 1990’s – they’re now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.
