Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Platinum-Coated Fountain Pen – Stub Nib Sorowka Grind

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Platinum-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc  presentation box (including outer) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 25th January 2021. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition. The original broad nib was reground to a stub by John Sorowka – there is a tiny mark on the side of the nib and we’ve tried to capture this in the photos.

The barrel and cap are crafted from black precious resin, with the trim being platinum-coated. The serial number can be found on the clip ring.

The pen is a piston filler, so bottled ink is your choice here.

The important details are as follows…

18k Stub Nib

Piston Filling System

Montblanc Presentation Box included

Wonderful Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
