Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition (some ink staining to the feed).

The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. The pen likely originally dates from the mid 1980’s, with it having black piston threads, two-piece barrel, Germany only clip markings and 14k bi-tone nib. It potentially then headed in for a service with Montblanc in the early part of the 1990’s as it has the first generation plastic feed.

The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
