Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen - 1985 - NEVER INKED

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box. The pen has never been inked and is presented in fantastic condition – the F sticker, confirming a fine nib, can still be found on the barrel.

This is a straightforward pen to date, as it features a split ebonite feed, two-piece barrel, black piston threads and 14k bi-tone nib – so placing it at only 1985, as that style nib was introduced that year and the black threads were replaced by the current brasss version. The clip ring features only Germany markings.

The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
