Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition – the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features a solid ebonite feed, 14c bi-tone nib, one-piece barrel and black piston threads. As such it sits between 1972-75. The clip ring features only Germany markings.
The pen is fitted with a 14c bi-tone medium nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows…
– 14c Bi-Tone Medium Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
