Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.

This is a relatively simple pen to date, as it features a solid ebonite feed, 18c tri-tone nib, one-piece barrel and friction fit piston. As such it dates the pen to 1968. The clip ring features only Germany markings.

There’s so much value in these vintage 149’s when compared to the current retail price of the modern version. They’re wonderful writers and just have something ‘extra’ about them!

The pen is fitted with an 18c tri-tone medium nib and it’s a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
