Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been lightly used over the decades and is presented in overall excellent condition.
This is a straightforward pen to date, as it features a grooved face ebonite feed, single-piece barrel, friction fit piston and 18c tri-tone nib – so placing it between 1965-668.
The pen is fitted with a glorious 18c Tri-Tone Extra Fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink – the piston is slightly stiffer on this one, but certainly nothing to be concerned about, as the friction fit pistons often are a little tighter.
The important details are as follows…
18c Tri-Tone Extra Fine Nib
Piston Filling System
Montblanc Presentation Box included
Excellent Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
