Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen - 1960-65 - EF Nib

Out of stock

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the decades and is presented in overall excellent condition (a light ring mark on the piston cone, which is shown in the photos). There is a little haziness to the ink window, but the ink level is entirely visible.

This is a straightforward pen to date, as it features a grooved face and shank ebonite feed, single-piece barrel, friction fit piston and 18c tri-tone nib – so placing it between 1960-65. These earlier 149’s also have a cap top which unscrews by hand from the main element of the cap.

The pen is fitted with a glorious 18c Tri-Tone Extra Fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

The important details are as follows…

18c Tri-Tone Extra Fine Nib

IZODS Presentation Box included

Lovely Condition

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
