Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the years and is presented in lovely condition – there are a few small marks on the clip.
The pen features a solid ebonite feed, single-unit barrel and legendary 14c tri-tone (oblique broad) nib – these details place it between 1969-72. The clip ring features only Germany markings.
The pen is a piston filler (so bottled ink) and we’ve serviced the mechanism, so it’s extremely smooth.
The important details are as follows…
14c Tri-Tone Oblique Broad (OB) Nib
Piston Filling System
Montblanc Presentation Box included
Lovely Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
