Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Calligraphy Flex Nib Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box, information booklet and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase in June 2020. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition.

The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. The 149 Flex was a special edition thast is no longer offered by Montblanc and examples are now getting increasingly difficult to find.

The 149 is a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here. The serial number can be found on the clip ring.

The pen is fitted with an 18k flexible nib – it’s not a full flex nib but with careful varying pressure it can go from an extra fine 0.3mm to a double broad 1.6mm line width.
