Montblanc Meisterstück 149 75th Anniversary Special Edition Fountain Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 75th Anniversary Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (the additional branding on the top was used for the 90 Years pens). The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition.

 

 

 

The 75th anniversary pens were released in 1999 to commemorate 75 years of the Meisterstuck range (launched in 1924). There were two main editions available, one being the unlimited yellow gold ‘special edition’ pens and then the rose gold ‘limited edition’ pens, of which only 1924 examples were produced. This is the yellow gold special edition.

 

 

 

To distinguish these anniversary editions from the usual offerings, you’ll find a second gold band around the top of the clip, in which is mounted a diamond and the inscription ’75 years of passion and soul’ – with the diamond being the ‘o’ in passion.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a 18k medium nib (the 75th anniversary nibs are glorious!) and being a 149, this is a piston filling pen.
