Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveller Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and leather Traveller pouch. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.

 

 

 

The 147 Traveller, if you’re not familiar with it, is a LeGrand (146) sized fountain pen, but the filling system is cartridge only. It’s a very clever design, as to load the cartridges you simply unscrew the end of the pen, which then reveals an internal metal holding cage, where you can then slot in the cartridges.

 

 

 

 

The pen is crafted from Bordeaux resin with the trim being gold-coated.

 

 

 

The clip ring features both serial number and Germany markings.

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with a 14k medium bi-tone nib and it’s a cartridge only filler.
